P!nk is in utter disbelief after becoming a 2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee for the very first time.
The pop powerhouse took to Instagram on Wednesday night, Feb. 25, to share her response with fans after the big news went live earlier in the day. She made the emotional announcement that she was in shock by sharing the sentiment, "How is this possible?!"
"Look what we did together y’all!!!!!" the "Stupid Girls" songstress exclaimed. "I never ever fit neatly into a box. That was kind of the whole point."
The musical artist is among this year's star-studded roundup, which includes the likes of Lauryn Hill, Phil Collins, Mariah Carey, Oasis, Wu-Tang Clan, Black Crowes, Jeff Buckley, Melissa Etheridge, Billy Idol, INXS, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, New Edition, Sade, Shakira, and Luther Vandross.

“This diverse list of talented nominees recognizes the ever-evolving faces and sounds of rock & roll and its continued impact on youth culture,” John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, said in a statement, per Rolling Stone. “Induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is music’s highest honor, and we look forward to celebrating the class of 2026 this fall.”
Continuing her social media statement, Pink added, "This nomination isn’t mine; it’s ours. It’s for every one of us who ever felt like an outsider or underdog and found something in this music that made them feel less alone," before urging fans, "If that’s you, make your voice heard! You can vote every day."
Fans in the comments section sounded off on the "well deserved" honor, with a few dropping notes like, "TRULY deserved!!! And even more!!! 😍," "OBVIOUSLY!!!! Yes!!!" and "Fully deserved! I've been a big fan since day one! I'm rooting for you!"
"Love this. Congratulations!! It’s a celebration of forging your own path and embracing uniqueness rather than conformity. What an inspiration 🎉✨🎉," another applauded, as many more simply showered the "So What" singer with congratulatory messages and well-wishes.
The official inductees will be announced in April, while the annual ceremony is slated to take place this fall. Voting is open to the public online.
