Ryan Day said Julian Sayin would be missing for "several weeks."
Saturday marked the day that we stopped thinking about Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin as a 2027 NFL Draft prospect. He is now a 2028 NFL Draft prospect. Ohio St. went into #6 Indiana and ended the defending national champions' 22 game win streak. It was obviously the longest such streak in the nation.
However, this massive win came with a massive price, as Sayin suffered an unspecified injury to his throwing arm, and he was seen on the sidelines with his arm in a sling. After the game, OSU coach Ryan Day said very little, other than that Sayin would be missing for "several weeks."

So that basically ends his regular season, and we'll see where he's at once the College Football Playoff (enjoy the size 12 edition people, it got taken from us far too soon *sky point*) gets going. Even before Sayin got hurt, there were questions about his durability as a prospect, due to his being a tad undersized for the NFL.
The injury will most certainly NOT quell those concerns. Also Jeremiah Smith is just so much "that dude" that he could make almost any quarterback look good. NFL teams will no doubt want to get more tape on Sayin from a season in which he doesn't have one of the greatest receivers in college history to throw to.
