Miley Cyrus claimed the late Dolly Parton sent her a "supernatural sign."

On Oct. 18, the Wrecking Ball singer performed at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. Cyrus, 33, took the concert stage and spoke about the late Parton, who passed away at age 80. The former Hannah Montana star revealed to the crowd that she had a Parton-like mannequin in her bedroom. After lighting a candle, Cyrus claimed she sensed something in the room with her.

Cyrus claimed she felt Parton's presence as the lights were flickering on and off. This came after the music superstar responded to critics that performing doesn't come "as natural as it once did."

Cyrus shared, “I put a flower down for her, and I said, ‘Dolly, if you’re here right now, flicker the lights.'"

“And I didn’t say anything out loud, but the entire hallway started flickering.”

“But, I know Dolly’s here with me tonight, and I’m feeling some of the feelings that I’m most afraid of, but having her here with me is getting me through, and having you here with me is getting me through,” she said.

After singing her cover of Parton's classic Jolene, Cyrus burst into tears while holding a framed photo of her late godmother, according to the New York Post.

Following Parton’s death, Cyrus also shared a tribute to her godmother on social media, describing her as an "angel."

She wrote, "The feeling of losing my Aunt Dolly is beyond what feels right to share. Our most sacred moments were private, and they’ll stay there behind the stage, beneath the glamour & between our hearts."

"My heart breaks for the world, her family, and friends who will miss her deeply. We’re in this loss together, and we will see her in all of the most beautiful things," she concluded.

After Parton's death was announced on Aug. 25, it was revealed that she had died from losing her battle with cancer.

The singer's reps previously released a statement explaining the cause of her death to People that same month.

“Our beloved Dolly Parton spent her life and career bringing joy, laughter, hope, and integrity into everything she touched,” the statement read. “Her unmatched generosity reached the lives of countless people whom she would never meet, yet she was always there to offer a helping hand.”

The statement went on, “Whether it be the hundreds of millions of books donated through her invaluable Imagination Library or funding research that helped create a lifesaving vaccine used around the world, Dolly’s unconditional love for all people was the guiding force for her lasting impact."

“After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her Earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, surrounded by loved ones,” the statement ended.
