Scott Vincent thanked Jon Rahm for sticking with LIV Golf as rumors swirled that the two-time major winner could be leaving the circuit.

LIV Golf is struggling financially thanks to a funding pull from the PIF, but Scott O’Neil announced they have secured a new investment for the 2027 season. The schedule is set to have just 10 events and players will earn a slice of equity in the league.

They are playing their final event at LIV Golf Indianapolis after the team finale was canceled due to financial struggles. It comes as reports emerged that Saudi chief 'pulled plug' on LIV Golf after Sergio Garcia 'embarrassment' at Masters.

“I was very impressed with how it all went down,” Vincent told Garrett Johnston referring to the investor meeting ahead of LIV Golf Indianapolis. “I'm, you know, painted this really cool picture of what it could look like, and I'm really excited about it. And I think this is going to be great.”

Amid the questionable future, Rahm is reportedly owed around $150 million from LIV Golf, and there are reports that he could be returning to the DP World Tour at the end of the season.

“I gave him a big thank you this week, and I'm grateful that he's been out here competing,” said Vincent. “He's made me a better player, so I'm thankful for that. And I've loved competing with him and alongside him, and watching him and learning. So those are the things I'm thankful for.”

No one is sure what the future holds for the circuit as Bryson DeChambeau’s contract expires at the end of this season and Cameron Smith’s is signed till the end of 2027. Vincent didn’t care, and he’s more worried about what he can control.

“We all—everybody wants guarantees,” said Vincent.

“Everybody wants this thing. Tomorrow's not even promised, you know? There's bigger things going on in the world. You know, I've lost loved ones recently, and it's like, man, it's such a gift to just even wake up tomorrow.

“What a gift it is to have this beautiful sunshine and be out here, chatting to you and talking about life, and trying to point out that there are so many things that are so much more important. I love what I do.

“I hope I get to do it more. I love playing on these stages. Playing on LIV has been such a gift for me, and I'm thankful for that. And yeah, I'm looking forward to this week. It's going to be great. My wife's flying in on Friday, and we get to spend the weekend together. That's so cool.”
