Kourtney Kardashian and sister Kim Kardashian have been through it all.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive clip from the Thursday, Oct. 22, episode of The Kardashians season 8, Kourtney spent time with her stepdaughter Alabama Barker, who filled her in on her ongoing disagreement from brother Landon Barker.

“We’re in an argument,” Alabama, 20, tells Kourtney, who married her dad, Travis Barker, in 2022. “We just had a disagreement and I found something out, and I told my father, and [Landon] didn’t like that.”

The “tattle-tailing” was for Landon’s “own good,” but as a result, she says she and Landon, 23, haven’t spoken in nearly four weeks. That reveal prompts Kourtney, 47, to share a similar experience.

“Four weeks? I told you, I didn’t talk to Kim once for four weeks in high school, no, college,” Kourtney says.

In a confessional, she explains that the brief estrangement was the result of her younger sister’s first marriage to Damon Thomas. “Kim got married when she was 19 and she didn’t tell me — my friends told me,” Kourtney recalls.

Says Kourtney, “So I told my mom, ‘cause my mom kept saying, ‘It’s so funny, the nail girl was saying, “Congratulations, your daughter got married.”’ And then Kim was like, ‘You’re ruining my life!’ ”

Kim, 46, was married to Thomas for three years after they eloped in Las Vegas in 2000. The relationship is one that the SKIMS mogul mostly doesn’t talk about, though she has made some rare comments on it on the Hulu reality series.

In a 2025 episode, she recalled the non-traditional look she wore for the nuptials. “My first wedding, I wore leather capris with a leather halter top with no back and big Prada wedges,” she said. “It was so cute.”

She was 19 at the time and Thomas, a music producer, was 29. They divorced in 2004, and Kim recalled on The Kardashians how Khloé helped her with the split. “When Khloé was just maybe 4 or 5 years old, she got this piggy bank that was as tall as us, and it was a Coke bottle — we would put so much money in it. When I was getting my first divorce, I moved out and I had no money. I think I was like 21, and she was like, ‘Here, you can have my Coke bottle.’ ”

“We were up all night counting it, and it had $6,000 in it, and it was enough for me to get a down payment on my apartment and pay my first and last month’s rent,” Kim recalled.

Since her 2004 divorce, Kim has been married two more times. She married Kris Humphries in 2011, but they split just 72 days later. In 2013, she got engaged to Kanye West and they wed in 2014. Kim filed for divorce from the rapper in 2021. She’s currently dating F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, to whom she’s been linked since February.
