The Godmother of The View has invoked The Godfather as the talk show's cohosts slammed recently ousted Department of Homeland Security head Kristi Noem.

Joy Behar referenced an ominous quote from the Francis Ford Coppola-directed classic as the cohosts celebrated Donald Trump firing Noem on Thursday amid growing protests of her handling of immigration raids across the United States.

"Who's next? Who's next!?" Behar exclaimed as her colleagues discussed Noem's firing, which Trump announced earlier this week.

"To save face, to give her some elegant exit, he's naming her, Kristi Noem, special envoy to the Americas to the western hemisphere," panelist Ana Navarro said, referencing the title Trump said he'd soon bestow upon Noem. "This is a woman who doesn't know the country of Venezuela from the Dodger pitcher Fernando Valenzuela."

Behar smiled as she later quipped, "You know, in the words of The Godfather, you won't see her no more."

The 83-year-old quoted a memorable scene from the mob epic that features James Caan's Sonny Corleone looking into the whereabouts of treacherous Corleone chauffeur Paulie (Johnny Martino), only to be met with a grim response: "You won't see him no more."

Later on The View, Sunny Hostin pointed out that Noem's new position would require her to oversee areas that included lots of sandy beaches, to which she responded, "What is she doing? She's securing the whales?"

As the show went to a commercial break, Navarro turned toward the camera to reference another classic movie, 1995's Friday, as she delivered "the last word" on Noem: "Bye, Felicia! Don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you!"

The show's panel has long criticized Noem for her handling of immigration raids in the country, though returning guest cohost (and former permanent panelist) Elisabeth Hasselbeck defended her and the Trump administration through the controversy.

The View airs weekdays on ABC.
