Jenna Bush Hager reflected on her marriage to Henry Hager, whom she met during George W. Bush's 2004 campaign
Jenna joked about her and Henry's similar facial features, saying they could resemble siblings due to their “big heads”
She addressed comparisons to her father, George W. Bush, noting their physical resemblance but contrasting their personalities
Jenna Bush Hager thinks she and husband Henry Hager look a lot alike.
The pair, who married in 2008, met in 2004 when Hager was working on the presidential campaign for Jenna's dad, George W. Bush. Decades later they are happily married and the parents of three kids: Mila, 13, Poppy, 10, and Hal, 6.
During a chat about marrying a guy “like your dad” on the Tuesday, April 28, episode of Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, Jenna, 44, discussed the similarities between her and her husband.
“There is a common thought that you marry a guy like your dad. They say that,” co-host Sheinelle Jones noted. “Do you think that's true? When I first met your husband, I was like, ‘Oh, wow! He's kinda like her dad.' He's fun, he almost kinda— do you think he kinda looks like him a little bit?”
Jenna said she didn't see it, but added, “I think Henry and I sort of have big heads. I think we have big faces, which, therefore, we could be brother-sister, which they also say.”

She went on to show a holiday photo with her husband from 2024, pointing out, “See, big heads! See, brother and sister! Do you see it? We could be brother and sister if you zoomed into our big faces. And all my kids look identical because all our heads are large.”

Jones, 48, continued to claim that former President Bush and Hager looked alike, to which Jenna replied, “Yeah, ‘cause I kind of resemble [my father].” However, personality-wise, Jenna said that the two men “are different humans for sure.”

The daughter of the former president and first lady Laura Bush recently got candid about being compared to her politician father in the looks department.
Earlier this month, the Read with Jenna founder interviewed her dad for a special History Talks segment in honor of the 250th anniversary of America's founding.
At the time, Jones commented, “God, you guys look just alike too. I know everybody says it, but dang.”
Jenna then deadpanned, “I know. Well, sometimes that's not a compliment, but I appreciate it,” before giving the camera a pointed stare. She later added, “Well, I think my dad's handsome, but when people say that I'm like, 'I look like a man?' ”
