Genevieve Padalecki celebrated her 16th wedding anniversary with a special tribute to her husband, Jared Padalecki, on Instagram on Friday, Feb. 27
She shared several photos and videos from their life together so far, writing, “16 years of adventure, grit, grace and choosing each other"
Genevieve and Jared first met while working on Supernatural in 2008 and wed in 2010
Genevieve Padalecki is celebrating a sweet 16 years of marriage to husband Jared Padalecki.
The Walker actress, 45, shared a special tribute to the Supernatural alum — whom she wed in 2010 and shares three kids with — on Instagram on Friday, Feb, 27, alongside several romantic photos of the pair over the last few years.
She kicked off the post with a sweet snap of the pair gazing lovingly at each other while each wearing cowboy hats. Follow-up snaps showed the couple sharing kisses and posing together on vacation.
“Our marriage can officially drive. Sweet sixteen,” she captioned the photos and videos, which included a shot Genevieve took of Jared driving a convertible with the top down and a video of her riding a scooter up behind him.
“16 years of adventure, grit, grace, and choosing each other 🫶🏻,” Genevieve wrote. “Through winding roads, scenic routes, 3 beautiful kiddos and the occasional ‘are we lost?’ moments 😆. I wouldn’t change a single mile.”

“How lucky am I to do this life with you? @jaredpadalecki Jared, you hang the moon. 🌙,” she added. “Chose this song just for you. Thank you for supporting my 👽 ‘weird.’ I love you all my fart. WP.”
The couple first met while working on Supernatural in 2008. They got to know each other over the course of a few months before going on their first official date.

A year later, Jared popped the question, and they tied the knot in 2010. The couple have since welcomed three children into their family — sons Thomas “Tom” Colton, Austin “Shep” Shepherd and daughter Odette Elliott.

They also moved from Los Angeles to Austin, Texas, due to the city’s "slower pace,” where they are raising their children alongside dogs and other farm animals including chickens, mini horses and even a beehive, from which they harvest their own honey.
The couple have also costarred together over the years, and not just on Supernatural. In 2021, they starred the screen together once again on the CW show Walker, where they played a married couple — something Jared was proud of.

"Being able to show her off to the cast and crew was awesome," Jared previously told PEOPLE. "She sacrificed so much while I was in Vancouver [shooting Supernatural] ... She was home a lot with the kids, changing diapers and making lunches.”
“So getting her back out with people with similar passions and interests was awesome to see. It's good to flex those muscles again!"
