CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Former Hornets star LaMelo Ball may have left Charlotte, but he’s still trying to sell his home in Uptown.
A private showing Wednesday of the third-floor condo apartment had music, sushi, and -- real estate agent Erika Mendoza says -- interested buyers.

"Everybody and their mom wants to buy this place," she said.
Mendoza is the agent tasked with selling the 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath, 3,400-square-foot residence with a private balcony.
They’re asking for $2.6 million, which Mendoza calls "a steal."

"You want to target executives, athletes because you have the Panthers stadium there. You have Spectrum with the Charlotte Hornets, Charlotte FC," she said. "Those are the kind of people you want to target."
The condo is one of seven residences in the whole building.

Some of the neighbors include Michael Jordan, Cam Newton, and the rapper DaBaby.
Tiffini Polacci is a Charlotte real estate agent who isn't associated with Ball’s listing, but she says the demand for luxury in Uptown is real.

When it comes to less expensive condos, Polacci says it's a good time to be a buyer pretty much anywhere in the Charlotte area.
"We are seeing longer days on market," she said. "[Buyers] have time to be discerning. They can really take a look and shop the competition."
Mendoza knows Ball's name alone won't sell the place, but she feels it has a lot to offer.
"Why wouldn't you want to live here?" she said.
Mendoza says Ball owns a second unit in the building that will "probably" go on the market too.
