ELLE and the Actor Awards Toast Hollywood’s Breakout Stars: See the Polaroids

Last night, award season energy shifted to the hills of Los Angeles, where ELLE and the Actor Awards co-hosted an Actors Rising party at the storied Castillo del Lago. The gathering spotlighted a new class of film and TV talent—along with this year’s Actor Awards ambassador, Yerin Ha—just days before the 32nd annual ceremony takes place on March 1.

A mix of buzzy breakout stars and familiar faces from across the industry were present. Among those in attendance were Ha, Paige DeSorbo, Spencer House, Sophia Mena, and more.

This year marks the first time ELLE has partnered with the Actor Awards as its official fashion collaborator, bringing our editorial perspective to both the red carpet and a slate of pre-show events, including Actors Rising.

Fashion will play a central role in the lead-up to Sunday’s ceremony. As another first, our editors set the official red carpet theme for the Actor Awards, drawing inspiration from the glamour of ’20s and ’30s Hollywood—an era defined by Art Deco detailing, fluid evening silhouettes, and a sense of cinematic opulence. While the full expression of that vision will unfold on the red carpet Sunday, its influence was already felt throughout the evening, with guests embracing polished tailoring, sleek gowns, and subtle vintage references.

High above the city, surrounded by the estate’s old-Hollywood charm (the property was once owned by Madonna), the celebration felt both intimate and anticipatory—a prelude to a weekend that will culminate at the Shrine Auditorium.
