In honor of the Coldplay frontman's 49th birthday, his daughter Apple Martin, 21, shared a touching tribute on her Instagram Stories featuring a few pictures of them over the years. In the first post, she shared a snap of the two of them sitting next to each other with bright smiles on their faces.
“My hero’s birthday ❤️,” she wrote over the photo.

In another post, Apple shared several more snaps with her dad and her brother Moses, 19, calling him the "coolest dad in the world."
“Coolest dad in the world,” she wrote. “I love you more than anything.”

The "Speed of Sound" rocker and his ex-wife, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, welcomed their two children during their 13-year marriage. Despite their split, they have maintained a healthy co-parenting relationship.
Last March, Paltrow sent some birthday love to Chris, complete with photos of the dad of two hanging out with their kids. In the first picture, the “Yellow” crooner sat alongside Apple and leaned his head affectionately on hers. Chris appeared pensive in the sunny shot, while Apple posed with her head resting in her hand.

In the second photo, a father-son shot, Chris sat at a piano with Moses. The duo both had their heads down, seemingly out of concentration, in the sweet picture.
“Happy Birthday to the man that gave me these beautiful, wonderful human beings,” Paltrow captioned the post. “We💚you, Chris.”
